System design with partially integer optimization models

Options of operating a system of several processes drawing on common inhomogeneous resources are generated and chosen by a method which, in comparison with conventional discrete-time optimization algorithms used for similar purposes, improves the accuracy of solving the problem without increasing its dimension.
