The principle of absolute invariability with functional monitoring of data processing systems

A functional monitor is obtained for a data processing system by using the necessary and sufficient conditions under which the signals are absolutely invariant with exogenous input signals (data and noise) of an arbitrary form. Design of nonlinear functional monitors provides invariance in the entire range of system parameters and does no impose stringent constraints on the parameters of the monitors.
