Choice of a Method to Protect Data Recorded in Magnetic Media

The paper is concerned with choice of optimal strategies for reserving program moduli and data arrays to be used in data processing systems or stored in magnetic media. The optimal number of storage levels is found that ensures the maximal (desired) value of the system availability coefficient.
