On effectiveness of multiprocessor virtual memory

The page replacement effectiveness is studied for a multi-processor virtual memory (VM). The basic principles for organizing multi-processor operation with VM and thecriterion for its effectiveness are considered. Experimental data are analyzed which areobtained by using a simple model of a multi-processor program. Comparison with a conventional VM is made.
