Design of program tests

For programs written in the assembler of the CMEA Computer System (ES) the notions are introduced of simple and a combinatorial program debugging criteria, of a simple and a combinatorial tests and of tests with specified debugging criteria. Methods for design of such tests and principles underlying the debugging programs are put forward. These methods can be extended to programs in other languages.
