Improved operational algorithm of optimal control

Abstract: Optimal controls are determined through solution of a linear differential equation with partial derivatives over the arc length along the path of free motion of the plant in the state space. This is the form of the partial differential equation in the method of analytical design with generalized work as the criterion. The solution is sought in a one dimensional subspace in the general case of a multidimensional state space.
