Characteristic regions of asymptotic stability of linear stationary system of arbitrary order

An algebraical stability criterion is proposed for linear systems whereby general laws of location and configuration are established for the characteristic stability regions; the theoretical data lead to a simple method of obtaining the stability regions without search.
