On hardware multiprocess organization

The paper is concerned with increasing the productivity of computers in data processing problems by hardware implementation of certain functions the operating systems performs in organizing the multiprocess operation, increasing the effectiveness of virtual memory, exchange optimization, and introduction of pure and recursive procedures. The feasibility of a special — purpose multiprocessor which would perform these functions is discussed.
