Some features of the behavior of optimal trajectories in problems that are linear with respect to control

In some problems of optimizing linear control systems with an integral square performance criterion on an inifinite time interval the optimal paths are shown not only to go asymptotically to the origin of coordinates but to reach it within finite time. Tha general approach to such problems is illustrated with examples.
