Crudeness Analysis of Sliding Modes in Systems Whose Control Functions Are Discontinuous

A singularly disturbed system is described by control equations whose slow variables are discontinuous. Sufficient conditions are found under which the motions in sliding mode that occur in a formally shortened system make a model of slow motions of the complete system.
