Algebraical method for study of correlations in balanced incomplete block design. I. Characterization of covariance matrices in the case of nonsymmetrical block design

Abstract: Covariance matrices are characterized in nonsymmetrical balanced block design assuming that these matrices belong to a seven-dimensional relationship algebra of experiment plan [1]. The necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for non singular symmetrical matrices, positive and negative definite matrices of this algebra.
