Optimal Reproduction of Random Brightness Field by Opto-Electronic Systems

For opto-electronic systems which reproduce random brightness fields by pointwise or line scanning the spacefrequency response of the optical channel and the frequency response of the electronic channel are obtained that are optimal in terms oi minimal reproduction error variance in the presence of natural noise and additive optical noises.
