A class of codes correcting bit loss and errors in the preceding symbol

A class of codes that correct bit loss and an error in the preceding symbol is proposed. These codes also correct two adjacent non-symmetrical errors. The redundancy of codes is not large and they are easily implemented in hardware and in hadwareand software.
