Analysis of dynamic responses of automatic systems with significant change of the oscillation frequency

An approximate method is proposed for analysis of dynamic properties of automatic systems with significant change of the oscillation frequency. The method is illustrated with examples of transient process characteristics for a nonlinear automatic system and a variable parameter system.
