Developing Systems

A continuous monotonic programming problem

A. N. Lapin

Leningrad

Abstract: In the nonlinear programming problem under discussion the objective function and constraints are represented as functions continuous and monotonic with respect to each argument. Each of these can be represented by an algorithm. An “accurate” and a number of heuristic ways to look for a solution are described. An example is given.
