General-purpose simulation system. I. Methodology of simulation system design

Principles are formulated and methodology is discussed for modelling system design based upon use of computer for imitation of physical control plant and solution of optimization problems as well as for organization of a special –purpose memory. With accumulation of experience in solving various problems, the system learns on the basis of particular data it has, this process following some universal principles. Description of the general structure and design methodology of the modelling system is illustrated by solving a test problem on a simplified version of the system.
