Service with mixed priorities in systems with losses on switchover

The paper is concerned with a service system with mixed priority and two types of entries (priority and non-priority) and one servicing unit with due regard for the switching time lost when a non-priority entry service is interrupted and resumed. The distribution of virtual service times and the generating function of probabilities of simultaneous distribution of queue lengths are found.
