The Use of Extremal Grouping Algorithms in Process Simulation Problems

The paper is concerned with the use of algorithms of extremum grouping in analysis and determination of the structure of the initial space of features in the process simulation problem. The results of applying this approach are given for simulation of a stepwise counterflow catalytical cracking in an oil refinery.
