Estimating the efficiency of a stratified sample (Bowley scheme)

A sample is studied which is obtained thanks to stratification of the totality in terms of an auxiliary variable (factor). An estimate is given which characterizes the effectiveness of this sampling in estimating the mean value of the unknown parameter.
