Methods of effective input sets for the diagnosis of discrete devices

The paper describes methods for construction of a checking test for combinational units and ways to extend these to discretetime units with memory. A test is described whereby multiple constant faults are sought for combinational units without ramification of input poles and which is simple in structure and relatively short.
