A continuous model for the process of quality shaping

The paper is concerned with determining the relation of manufacture system statistical characteristics and the product quality. Under certain conditions the model can be represented in a modular form. In the case of independent effect of the product parameter on the quality the model becomes a simpler discrete-time type.
