On design of a test sequence for discrete-time units having memory

Abstract: The paper describes a structural method for design of a sequence of input sets for testing a specified constant fault in a structure of general form. The method employs separate examination of the faultless and the faulty unit so that at the stage of obtaining significant routes only simple routes can be considered and at the stage of designing basic sequences the effect of faults can be strictly recognized. Attention is focused on design of multi-cycle significant routes.
