Automata

On behaviour of interacting automata which simulate a process — controller system

N. N. Ivanov

Moscow

Abstract: The paper is concerned with behaviour of two finite automata; the inputs and outputs of the one are associated with outputs and inputs, respectively, of the other. Such a system can be regarded as a model of a closed discrete system control loop using a program which is viewed as a set of input-output sequences implemented in the automaton which acts as the model of the system. The controler is the second automaton. Algorithms are given whereby the control automaton is designed on the knowledge of specified system model behaviour.
