Computers in Control

A parallel digital network processor and stability analysis of transient processes in the logical processor network

V. V. Doenin

Moscow

Abstract: The paper expounds the design principle of a digital processor incorporated in a computing system and intended for solution, by difference methods, of problems with second order partial derivatives. A network processor implements a fixed difference operator. A method is proposed for investigating the stability of transient processes in a logical processor network which applies stability theory to difference circuits. Ways to insure stability of transient processes are considered for a synchronous and an asynchronous logical network.
