Multi-phase systems with losses with exponential servicing

The article extends the findings of Ref. [4]. A single-line multiphase service system is considered with exponential distribution of service duration at each phase and without sites for queueing. The first phase receives a stationary ordinary ergodic flux of entries. If not lost the entry goes successively through all stages. If the phase is busy the entry is lost. An expression is obtained for the distribution function of intervals between entries of the flux.
