A mathematical model for determining the composition of computer network communication hardware

Algorithms are suggested for optimizing the complement of communication hardware in computer networks and their optimal configuration in data collection points, the variables being the rate of data transmission from these points to concentration nodes and minimal equipment and channel rental costs.
