Nonlinear sampled-data control of processes described by ordinary differential equations. I

The paper is concerned with optimal control of processes where the control signals cause discontinuities of the phase paths. Under natural assumptions the original sampled-data control problem is reduced to the conventional optimal control problem; equivalence of the original and the auxiliary problems is proved.
