An approach tо simulating a health service system

A generalized health service model is developed. The modeling principle is described. The population is classified into (1) healthy; (2) latent; (3) detected sick and (4) patients. The changes in fractions of these groups in the total population are studied as a function of deployment and use of health service resources. The population and resource allocation dynamics are described as a set of partial equations solved by the characteristics technique.
