Deterministic Systems

The effect of negative perceptivity of dynamic systems and its application in stabilization of unstable processes

Yu. I. Samoilenko

Kiev

Abstract: When internal degrees of freedom are excited in some dynamic systems of different physical nature these can be in the state of negative static perceptivity vis-a-vis external signals. In that state a locally time-averaged generalized displacement moves in a direction opposite that of the static or slowly changing generalized force which caused the displacement. Possible use of this effect in process stabilization is discussed.
