On one approximate method for solving serive problems

The paper is concerned with a service system with a queue, a recurrence input flow, and exponential distribution of the serving time. From available values of a certain number of senior moments an approximation of the law of input flow is obtained which leads to an approximate method for computing the system effectiveness indices. Examples are given.
