Abstract: Micromagnetic modeling of the possibility of switching the magnetization in ellipsoidal nickel nanoparticles during the passing of short acoustic pulses through them has been carried out by using the MuMax3 package. The effect of particle sizes on their internal magnetic structure is estimated. The critical particle size at which their single-domain property lost is found. The magnetoelastic diagrams of the nanoparticles magnetization switching analysis was made for nanoparticles sizes before and after exceeding the threshold of their absolute single-domain property.

Keywords: ferromagnetism, magnetoacoustics, ultrafast phenomena, nickel nanomagnet.
