Abstract: A model for describing soil loosening when exposed to compressed air is considered. The model allows you to calculate, depending on the compressed air pressure, the diameter of the hole and the depth of the feed point, the dilatancy zone (the area within which the created stresses will exceed the threshold and the loosening process will begin). The developed model is also used to describe soil loosening at several air supply points and at different jet directions.

Keywords: modeling of physical processes, tillage, loosening, compressed air.
