Abstract: We studied the effect of modifier additives TiB$_2$, AlMgB$_{14}$, (NH$_4$)$_2$TiF$_6$, NH$_4$BF$_4$, Ca$_3$(PO$_4$)$_2$ on the combustion parameters of composite propellants based on aluminum powder as a fuel (about 20 % wt.), ammonium perchlorate as an oxidizer (about 60 % wt.), and energetic binder (MPVT about 20 % wt.). As a result of the study, the influence of additives on the rate of composite propellants combustion, dimensionless mass and agglomerate size was revealed.

Keywords: composite propellants, aluminum, additives, titanium diboride, aluminum-magnesium boride, ammonium tetrafluoroborate, ammonium-titanium fluoride, 3-substituted calcium phosphate, combustion rate, agglomeration, condensed combustion products, particle size distribution.
