Abstract:
We present formulas for calculating the steady-state wave velocity and ignition temperature during filtration combustion of a hydrogen-air mixture in an inert porous medium. According to the obtained formula, the ignition temperature rises smoothly with the increase of the mixture blowing velocity, and decreases with the increase of the porous medium particle diameter. The calculated wave velocities increase with the increase of the mixture inlet velocity and pass into other velocity regimes.
