Abstract: The dependence of the shape of concentration profiles of elements from the structural state of a thin (${}<10$ nm) surface layers of amorphous alloys was stadied. It is shown that the distortion of the shape of concentration-traditional profiles, due to the difference of coefficients of dispersion of different elements and difference of coefficients spray one element in the composition of various chemical compounds and phases, allows the floor begin for more information about the structural state of a thin surface layer of amorphous alloys. Amorphous surface layers correspond to monotonic profiles, and crystallized – oscillating.

Keywords: photoelectron spectroscopy, concentration profiles, thermodynamic analysis, amorphous alloys, surface layers.
