On the viscosity of the multicomponent amorphising melts from Fe-group

Abstract: The temperature and time dependences of viscosity of the Co$_{65,5}$Fe$_{6,5}$Si$_{18}$B$_{10}$, Ni$_{64,4}$Fe$_{4}$Cr$_{4,9}$Mn$_{2}$B$_{16,2}$C$_{0,5}$Si$_{8}$, Fe$_{50}$Cr$_{15}$Mo$_{14}$C$_{15}$B$_{6}$ multicomponent melts with different tendency to the bulk amorphization have been studied in this paper. It has been shown that the anomalous change of viscosity is observed in the polytherms in the vicinity if the T* (T* is the specific temperature for each alloy) and is caused by the change of the structural state of liquid phase.
