Abstract:
In the present work a behavior of an edge dislocation $\frac{a}{2}$<111>{110} with hydrogen Cottrell atmosphere in iron have been considered. The obtained results can be applied at solving the problem of hydrogen embrittlement of metals within a HELP-model (hydrogen enhanced localized plasticity). It has been shown that at a hydrogen concentration less than 100 ppm a shear stress of an edge dislocation may be reduced by several times.
Keywords:molecular dynamics, simulation, the edge dislocation, the Burgers vector, the Peierls-Nabarro stress.
