Abstract: Features of combustion of both powder and granulated Ti+0,5C mixes at various moisture content in an initial mix as in argon flow (coflow filtration), and without gas flow have been established. It is shown that combustion velocity of "wet" Ti+0.5C powder in argon flow under 1 atm pressure difference decreases almost by one half (from 10 mm/s to 4.5 mm/s) in comparison to "dry" mix, while for granulated mixes the moisture influence on combustion velocity and phase structure of the final products is insignificant.

Keywords: combustion, SHS, granules, humidity.
