The research of the structure and mechanical properties of steel 30ChGSN2A in the technologies of the piercing, reduction and high-temperature thermomechanical treatment of heavy-walled pipe blanks

Abstract: The researches of the structure and mechanical properties of steel 30ChGSN2À are given in the technological sequence of receiving the strengthened heavy-walled pipe blank with high-temperature thermomechanical treatment (HTTT) application. It‘s shown that material in the character and durability of structure corresponds completely to traditional hardening by HTTT method and can be used in the industry as the strengthened blank for the high-loaded technical systems. Thus the final formation of material `s structure happens at HTTT screw compression stage and doesn’t depend on the previous operations.
