Abstract: The work is a design, development and implementation of computer control systems for crimping process of crystallizing the metal under pressure. The control system will be implemented on a horizontal hydraulic press. The locking force within the cylinder press is 300 tons, the pressure at which the crimping of the metal is 500 MPa. The whole process starting from pouring of the metal prior to its crimping, is controlled by the necessary amount of instrumentation. The control system receives information from sensors, compares it with the Technical specifications for the pressure testing and making the necessary adjustments to the actuators - the pressing plungers. Thus imposing, pressure on the liquid metal for a given program, with the ability to predict properties of the finished product.

Keywords: crystallization, crimping, pressure, molten, computer control system.
