Abstract:
The propagation of Laguerre-Gauss vortex beams through a random phase distorting medium is numerically and experimentally investigated. The influence of the order of the mode on the degree of conservation of vortices of different orders in a random environment is analyzed. An increase
in the stability of the detection of a vortex in a beam with a small defocusing of the output Fourier cascade of the optical correlator is shown experimentally.
