Spectrally selective near-field enhancement in a photonic crystal structure with a diffraction grating

Abstract: Spectrally selective enhancement of the near-field intensity in the dielectric structures resulting from the excitation of Bloch surface waves is studied. The results may find applications in the design of near-field spectral filters.
