Solutions of a functional equation concerning with trilinear differential operators

Abstract: We solve the functional equation
$$ f(x+z)f(y+z)f(x+y-z) = \sum_{j=1}^m \phi_j(x,y)\psi_j(z) $$
for $m\le 5$.
