In No. 4, 2004, of “Functional analysis and Its Applications,” the paper “Contraction of Orbits in Random Dynamical Systems on the Circle” by V. A. Kleptsyn and M. B. Nalsky was published. It turned out that a result similar to the one obtained in that paper had already been published by V. A. Antonov in the paper “Modeling processes of the type of cyclical evolution. Synchronization by a random signal” (see Vestnik Leningr. Univ., Ser. Matem., Mekh., Astron., 2, No. 7, Sec. “Astronomy,” 67–76 (1984)). We acknowledge his priority and express our regret that we were not aware of Antonov's paper when we were writing ours.
