Abstract: Physical and chemical processes of gasoline combustion in internal combustion engines are considered. A model of combustion evolution in gasoline-driven engines, which explains some specific features of the processes in internal combustion engines, is proposed.

Keywords: combustion, degree of compression, heat loss, reaction rate, carbon deposition.
