High-speed photographic recording equipment for recording nuclear explosions and other fast processes

This paper describes optical devices designed at the Special Department of the Institute of Chemical Physics (Institute of Earth Physics earlier) to record physical processes accompanying nuclear explosions. Many of them have been used as standard equipment in nuclear-weapon tests.
