Abstract:
Laser ignition of explosives based on di-(3-hydrazino-4-amino-1,2,3-triazole)-copper(II) perchlorate was investigated. Dependences of explosive sensitivity on the concentration of the transparent binder and on the radiation spot diameter and time dependences of the ignition delay were constructed. An ignition mechanism is proposed that is based on the concept of the deformation instability of an explosive composition caused by local heating of optical microinhomogeneities.
