Increase in shock-wave sensitivity of damaged samples of TATB

Abstract: Shock-wave loading conditions leading to damage of samples of plasticized TATB are described. Results of loading of the damaged TATB samples by an explosion of a mounted initiator were recorded by pulse radiography, and they show that the shock-wave sensitivity of the samples increases.
