Shock-wave dispersion of structural materials

Abstract: Results of an experimental study of shock-wave dispersion of cylindrical shells made of lead, steel, and natural uranium-238, which is caused by the presence of various macroscopic defects, structural elements, and additional masses, are presented and discussed.
