Abstract:
In seeking sources of irregular, stochastic excitation of vibrational combustion in liquid-propellant rocket of various types with the use of a number of independent highly informative experimental methods, a group of phenomena (called parametric instability) that are inconsistent with the traditional conceptual model of the combustion mechanism in given objects was found. Revision of this model is required.
